Dr. Heather Sansom is a registered psychotherapist, psychologist, coach, recreation therapist, researcher, writer and leadership professional. She holds six degrees and diplomas, including those from McGill University and her PhD from the University of Guelph.
She has held leadership roles in the private and non-profit sectors. She completed her doctoral research in rural wellbeing issues: resilience and life skill development in green physical recreation (see Resilience Research tab). She was inspired through her research to credential in clinical mental health work later in life. She has focused professionally in recent years on University Professor/Lecturer roles and clinical practice. She is available for these, as well as research and consulting.
